Youmacon!! In a few hours, I'll be on my way (not that it's a very long trip, literally about 30 minutes away). Anyways, my cosplay line up for the weekend is as follows:

with the game shows, Name That Tune, Friday at 4 and Family Feud, Sunday at 1, so if you're going to the con, be sure to stop by. I can't play this year (obviously), so I want everyone to have fun in my stead.And, as always, if you see me at the con, be sure to say hi, I love being able to put names to faces^^

What I plan to do with these wings, for the black, use something like foamcore or photo matting board, cover it with fabric, and then sandwich the chiffon between the two layers. I believe that would be the best way to get the right look and have it be nice and light. The harness would just fabric-covered wire and the wings would be held on with invisible bra straps.
I would say, I would need about 3 weeks to make these, at the most, so please take that into account. If all this sounds good to you, let me know, and we'll go from there
